Prioritizing Health
Rest, diet and exercise. Successfully sticking to a routine happens after committing to crystalized priorities. When you make your health your first priority, the rest seems to fall into place.
This isn’t to say that being healthy is the key to progress, but its effects are undeniably beneficial. Rest is held first because it is the most attainable, maintaining a consistent bedtime can stabilize your mental health. Diet not only stabilizes fluctuation from your waistline, but more importantly your bodily functions. Healthy eating smooths out your energy levels throughout the day associated with regulating blood sugar.
Exercise is the added bonus. You need an outlet to stretch out your body as much as you do your mind. Something to get blood pumping to the parts of your body that are neglected during long periods sitting at a computer. Your mood brightens from the endorphins and your mental clarity sharpens from accelerating oxygen to your heart and brain.
If you remain disciplined, it’s has a domino effect. Shifting your focus towards your personal well-being can provide a sense of fulfillment and achievement.
