Love It Or Leave It
Whether you’re staying put or moving on, the relationships you have will be essential to your future success and growth. The love it or leave it approach in life does not mean making rash decisions. It’s about thoughtful reflection and intentional planning. It’s about pouring your heart and soul into the things that truly matter most, while also not wasting your time when the time spent becomes known to not provide the results you hope to achieve.
It’s about enforcing certain constraints on yourself, defining what you will allow yourself to tolerate and requiring yourself to take responsibility for your actions, especially to promote responsible behavior. It’s the ability to consider the relevant variables of a situation and to access, organize, and analyze relevant information (e.g., facts, opinions, judgments, and data) to arrive at a sound conclusion.
Whether you see this as a relationship with a partner or a business, given how much time we spend working towards something meaningful and fulfilling, we want to make sure that what we do aligns with our values and gives us a sense of purpose at minimum, otherwise you potentially may be going down a dead-end.
