Relentless Optimism
The problem with being optimistic is that it is inharently naive. Is there an optimism that isn’t? To know the faults of the world and still remain optimistic is the manifestation of just how strong people can be. Who do you want to be when faced with a catastrophe? Do you want to be the sniveling coward in the corner or the lion roaring in strength with full confidence you can help in the fight?
Relentless optimism, it’s about believing in the possibility of change despite evidence that would lead you to believe that change isn't possible. A level of stubbornness and self-confidence that you base on what you believe you’re capable of regardless of what you or others in similar circumstances have accomplished in the past.
To do the seemingly impossible requires a certain level of resilience and a heavy dose of positivity. Relentlessly optimistic people are their own biggest cheerleader. Living out a pep rally in their mind that encourages and supports their spirit every time they step out of their comfort zone.
Now this isn’t to say that these people are exclusively extroverts. Unstoppably positive people are like tempered steel with a hardened spirit developed by their beliefs. A hope that the outcome of their endeavor will be positive, favorable, and desirable. Relentlessly optimistic people are those who define failures as only learning opportunities and victories as simply positive reinforcement that they’re on the right path.
These people take action. They will keep going until they succeed at whatever they are attempting to accomplish with unrelenting flame that burns from within. Although these people are infectious to be around, it is a challenge for these people to find like minded individuals who are able to keep up with their intellectual pursuits.
Regardless of their positivity, they are still very competitive with themselves and often are ambitious and curious, yet private as they are smart by balancing their life, being selective with whom they bond with, which helps maintain their positive outlook. Unstoppable people take time to understand themselves on a deeper level. By doing so, they are empowered to build on their strengths and see where self-improvement is needed.
Being relentless means maintaining a healthy equilibrium, which means tending to your body, mind and soul to prevent burnout on a regular basis. Unstoppable people don’t panic in the face of change. They understand the importance of being flexible and embracing new and unplanned paths understanding they don’t have full control of life and will always have to make the most out of any circumstance if they hope to accomplish their goal.
Fully committed to your goals, they role with the punches as life unfolds, but still pull the reins on their life through the power of sheer will and hard work. Unstoppable people develop habits that keep them focused and they cultivate a ravenous drive to go after their dreams.
