Impenetrable
If I were a stranger and offered you a brick of gold for free, would you take it or hesitate as you assess the stranger?
Let’s say you are that stranger with gold, when you have something truly of value, rejection no longer is this terrifying thing. Because you are giving away so much away of value, you would have more to lose by someone accepting your offer than if they were to decline it. This highly coveted value should give you a sense of impenetrable confidence. You have nothing to lose if they say no, only continued progress along your ongoing progress. If they were to say no, it says more about them than it does about you or what you’re offering when you know the true value of what you have to offer.
The reason so many people hate sales and so many people don’t have this unshakable confidence is because they’re no confident in the value they’re providing and this stems from a desire to take or extract value rather than to give value. If instead we focus on how we can deliver more value to our potential customers than sales becomes easy and our confidence becomes impenetrable. and instead of thinking, I hope they say yes, I really need this, you’ll be thinking, they’re stupid if they say no.
