Existentialism
The meaning and purpose of human existence. A profound analysis of one’s reason for being. This is a philosophical theory or approach which emphasizes the existence of the individual person as a free and responsible agent determining their own development through acts of the will.
You are born without purpose into a world that makes no sense — but you have the ability to create your own sense of meaning and peace. Within this nothingness of life, the absurdity of the world, you must make your own luck or else you’ll find yourself in a state of indecision and depression.
If you’ve ever felt an existential crisis, also known as existential dread, this is a moment when you question whether your life has meaning, purpose, or value, and are negatively impacted by the contemplation.
Can you recall a moment you’ve had this feeling? I certainly have felt it a several crossroads that shook me to my core, reevaluating every passing day’s choices to the point it consumes my present self and future potential. So how do you discover meaning, purpose and value? By taking on the rewarding burden of responsibility with accountability.
